Plaid.

It’s on the verge of (yet another) moment.

Dries van Noten SS '13

Dating back to 16th century Scotland (per Wikipedia), plaid has been around long enough to have gone around the block once or twice.

From your mom’s bellbottom pants you wish you could fit into, to the flannel you wore that one time in the mountains to be “authentic,” plaid saturates your memories in one way or another.

And now it’s back, betches. And relevant.

Though it inadvertently may remind you of a certain first grade back to school outfit circa 1996 or again in 2001 when you wore glasses and figured ‘the bigger the frames the better,’ when contacts were ill-advised for any child not on the road to international gymnastic stardom (re: future Olympians) and you knew from a young age not to be photographed, I’m here to pull you back to the present and show you how beautifully plaid can be incorporated into your daily outfits once again.
